Devan McCluskey is a fifth year senior year at the Pennsylvania State University. For the past five years McCluskey has majored in Media Studies- film and television alongside Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Human Development- Family Studies. Over the past five years McCluskey spent two of her summers interning with CBS Films and a local CBS Station in Raleigh, North Carolina gaining experience with local media as well as with the film industry and film creative marketing.
Outside of the classroom McCluskey has been a full-ride scholarship athlete on the varsity Penn State Women’s Tennis Team. For the past two and half years McCluskey was selected by her head coach to be Captain of the team. Over the course of her athletic career McCluskey was selected out of 800 student athletes to be an active member in the Athletic Director’s Leadership Institute. ADLI taught McCluskey how to gain leadership abilities, deal with adversity as a leader and discuss over-all preparation for life after college. McCluskey not only saw success of the tennis court but as well as off the court receiving academic accolades from Penn State Athletic Administration as well as All- B1G 10 Academics.
As graduation approaches McCluskey is hoping to pursue a career in media. With experience with sales, creative marketing and production McCluskey hopes to find a career within either sales or creative marketing respectively. Below is a downloadable link to McCluskey’s resume.
